The Sandwich Bay, also called Sandwich Harbor, is located in Namibia’s Namib-Naukluft National Park near Erongo. It is also a RAMSAR site and a sanctuary for birds.
The wetland around the harbor is untouched by people and remains very natural.
There are about eight endangered animal species in this area. The land is very dry (desert), but you can still see large sand dunes, some archaeological sites, lagoons, and a bird sanctuary.
