Welcome to Namibia! Your travel guide will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall with a sign displaying your name. After collecting your luggage, we will drive for 45 minutes to our first lodge, located near the airport. If we are lucky, we may see some wildlife along the way.
Depending on your arrival time, we will go on a sundowner game drive at the neighboring Zannier Reserve. drives offer a chance to see nocturnal animals. If we are lucky, we may spot rhinos, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, leopards, ostriches, jackals, warthogs, antelopes, and various birds.
We will enjoy our first dinner together, talk about the day’s sightings, and rest for the night.
Day 2: Naankuse Wildlife Sanctuary to Sossusvlei
This morning, we will meet for breakfast at 8:00 AM and discuss our plans for the day. After breakfast, we will start our journey to the next destination.
We will stop along the way to take photos of the beautiful landscape. Mid-morning, we will take a coffee break at a scenic lookout point. If time allows, we will stop in Solitaire for a taste of the famous apple pie, a true Namibian treat.
The journey takes about 4 to 5 hours. We will arrive at our lodge near the entrance to Sesriem in time to watch the sunset and enjoy drinks while discussing the plans for tomorrow’s early start.
Sossusvlei is in the Namib-Naukluft National Park, the largest conservation area in Africa. It is one of Namibia’s most well-known attractions.
Day 3: Sossusvlei
We will wake up before sunrise, enjoy a quick cup of coffee or tea, and wait for the park gates to open.
We will drive for about 30 minutes, watching the sun rise over the red dunes. The dunes here are some of the highest in the world, reaching nearly 400 meters. This is the perfect time to take photos in the soft morning light. If you are feeling adventurous, you can climb the dunes, slide down them, or take a walk to Deadvlei.
We will have plenty of time to explore the highlights of Sossusvlei. Midway through the morning, we will stop for a picnic breakfast while enjoying the view.
After a busy morning, we will return to the lodge for lunch and some free time. Later in the afternoon, we will go on a sundowner drive from the lodge.

We will arrive in Swakopmund late in the afternoon, giving us time to settle in before meeting for sundowner drinks. Dinner will be at one of the many great restaurants in town.
Day 5: Swakopmund
We will start the day with a warm cup of coffee while getting ready for our morning adventure.
After breakfast, you will be picked up for the Living Desert Adventure, where you will learn about the small creatures that live in the desert.
